Teen Vogue Magazine Photo Shoot - 2013
What you will need:Comb/Brush
Step 1: First you will need to tease the roots of your hair. Start with dry, straight hair. Begin at the crown of your head. Separate out a 1 to 2 inch section of hair and clip the remaining hair out of the way. Firmly hold parted section out and away from the head with one hand. Hold the comb or brush in your other hand. Place the comb or brush approximately 3 to 5 inches away from the scalp. Using short, even strokes, brush or comb the sectioned-off hair in the opposite direction of hair growth; in other words, towards the head.
Lightly spray the newly-teased hair with hairspray and lay it aside. Repeat the entire process until all of the hair at the crown is teased.
Now take your hair and pull it into a ponytail. Using the tip of your brush or comb's handle loosen the top of the ponytail until you feel you match Emma's look as closely as possible. Let the rest of your hair lie naturally.
Now take a few strands of your hair underneath your teased ponytail and form a small braid on both sides.
